Driving Effective Plant Operations through Better Management of Change Workshop

Workshop Overview:

More ambitious production goals combined with an ever-increasing regulatory burden and the ongoing need to protect our people, plants and the planet mean more pressure on the core processes that both protect and produce in a facility. Management of Change (MOC), when implemented properly, can both minimize the effects of risks and encourage sound organizational decision-making, which enhances production and the bottom line. The average facility has hundreds of MOCs they process annually, and Process Safety compliance requires a focus on facility and technology change (i.e., equipment and procedure changes). As the workforce and the work environment continues to rapidly change, organizations must focus on balancing risk with cost. To meet this new challenge, companies must effectively manage Organizational and Personnel Change as a part of a holistic, integrated approach to MOC. In this collaborative virtual event, we’ll explore why effective MOC forms the basis for interoperability for numerous work processes, and how that interoperability drives both value protection (safety, compliance) and value extraction (loss and risk reduction, increased production). This workshop will focus on the latest best practices for addressing MOC, how to digitize change, and how to meet the challenge of creating effective processes that are automated to reduce risk and enhance efficiency. We will end with a discussion on the results of our recent MOC Primary Research survey and share insights on how attendees can apply those learnings and best practices to their own MOC challenges.
