The outcome of the criticality analysis can be used to determine whether an FMEA or RCM study should be performed, whether basic or standard care are appropriate strategies, and more. The ASM Module also integrates with the Reliability Module to develop strategies based on individual assets or assets by class for different operating conditions. The maintenance frequencies can vary according to the operating conditions of the assets.
Each risk identified will have controls associated with different levels of effectiveness. Then, the ASM Module will calculate the remaining risk level according to the composite effect of the controls. These controls form the maintenance plan for the asset class or individual assets. Instead of developing individual plans for each asset, users can choose templates from the Asset Strategy Library to expedite the journey.

Users can also accept all the controls from the Asset Strategy Library to address the risks or choose according to the Risk Reduction / Cost Ratio. Built-in charts and indicators will guide users on optimizing maintenance dollars while reducing risks

With the ASM Module, users can:
- Update asset strategies based on real-time asset health data through the Asset Health Module
- Track equipment inspections in the Inspection Management + Mobile Module
- Track recurring tasks outside of existing CMMS / EAM systems with the Task & Compliance Management + Mobile Module
- Track work planning and execution for preventive maintenance and repair through the Work Management + Mobile Module
- Observe and capture equipment statuses and readings and record findings in the Operator Rounds + Mobile Module
- Leverage connectors to integrate with leading EAM service providers, including SAP BM, IBM® Maximo®, HxGN EAM (formerly Infor EAM), and Oracle® EAM

Strategies can be analyzed visually by risk mitigation and cost to provide insight to high-value controls versus low-value controls. Risks that are under-mitigated can be identified, and the necessary controls added. Develop, manage, execute, and optimize your asset strategies consistently across all locations with the OESuite® ASM Module.
